I'm an ambitious 50-something hell-bent on changing the world one business at a time by helping business owners learn how to make their social media accounts and their website work together to generate more leads. I do this all while maintaining my corporate career that I don't hate! The Side Hustle Rage Podcast was brought to life to help people working a side hustle learn from others doing the same.
THE Podcast for Side Hustlers
My guest today it Millette Jones. Millette has a burning desire to help entrepreneurs believe their story is important & understand how sharing it can propel their business to success.
Millette’s own story has its share of ups and downs and she believes too many entrepreneurs allow the inevitable setbacks to derail their goals and push them back into the 9-to-5 grind.
Millette supports entrepreneurs with her Unstoppable Coach podcast, podcast publicity coaching, membership site for DIY podcast interview marketing and her signature program: Podguesting for Profits which guides entrepreneurs to be recognized as experts in their field, easily reach new audiences, and steadily grow their business through building trust and genuine connections with their ideal clients.
We cover the following topics and more:

My guest today is Heather Bryan. Heather is a fierce entrepreneur and the only woman to design and develop an engraving system in the US (pretty cool right?!)
Heather caught the entrepreneurial bug from her father, who was a multi-passionate entrepreneur. Her journey started off back in 1999 when she and her father became pioneers of onsite engraving for the PGA Tour, USGA and PGA events around the globe. In 2014, her father retired and Heather decided to develop her own system and box it up for others to be able to have their own engraving businesses out of their homes. This system is perfect for stay-at-home moms, or anyone else who is interested in starting a business.
Heather shares some of the ups and downs she went through when trying to bring her idea to market. Because she's tenacious and believes in equal opportunity she perservered like the winner she is, and because of that many more people have a chance to create the life and business of their dreams.
Heather has a philosophy that first businesses should be project-based, meaning you complete a project and you get paid. This helps keep the new entrepreneur motivated and excited about the possiblities.
Heather's product is a business-in-a-box side hustle that includes the equipment and product sourcing. She created a side hustle for others from her side hustle of local onsite engraving, and the level of support she provides her clients is unparalleled.
We cover a lot in this interview, including:

My guest today is Kristen Crawford. Kristen is a pageant queen who has realized the importance of a strong personal brand in competition. She now helps others as a Personal Brand Strategist. Kristen focuses on helping pageant queens & aspiring queens create clarity and confidence in their personal brand voice and visuals to create a rockin' pageant brand.
I was really excited to learn all about Kristin's history and how she got into pageantry. I've never spoken to anyone who's been in pageantry before, and if you haven't either you're in for a treat. Her story is unusual in that she started in pageantry at the age of 30. Most girls start out younger than that. Kristin’s learned so much through the process of competing over the past few years, and this led her into wanting to help other queens and aspiring queens get crystal clear on their messaging, and how to tell their stories in a powerful way.
If you're like me, you're looking forward to finding out a bit about the behind the scenes pageant lifestyle; it seems both glamorous and rigorous. I had so many questions, and Kristen did a great job of answering those and more, so listen in and get a glimpse into the pageantry world.
Here's a hint: The information Kristen shares is applicable to you whether you are interested in pageantry or not, and whether you are female or not. Let's dive in.

He is also passionate about teaching internal martial arts and mind-body mastery skills to adults and kids, especially those in under-served populations, and is currently living in Nepal while teaching tai chi and self-defense to at-risk youth.
