SHR Collage - Clay Green

My guest today is Clay Green, motivational speaker, personal trainer and ceo at EnthusiastiClay (I love that!)

As a leading instructor for the US Navy, in the Nuclear Power Plant Operations Pipeline, Clay Green was responsible for training hundreds of other Reactor Operators on how to safely and confidently operate a naval nuclear reactor without being distracted by the fact that they were under water, on a submarine, with a torpedo chasing them and a fire burning!

Clay’s ability to distinguish between feelings and facts, emotions and thoughts, reactions and contemplative though is what enabled Clay to have a huge impact on dozens of companies, including Intel.

Today, Clay focuses his efforts on entrepreneurs and executives by helping them understand how their subconscious affects every decision they face.

Clay supports achievers and leaders by empowering them through high-performance habits and tactics to control and manage the state of flow in their lives. His expertise is showing you how to reroute your thinking through tiny, daily practices and habits.

Clay has helped people overcome crushing debt, increase performance, and maximize their efficiency and effectiveness.

We cover a lot of ground in this interview, including:

  • The importance of mindset
  • How tiny daily practices and habits can be so powerful.
  • How quickly can someone expect to go from average to efficient?

Clay leaves us with one word: Meditate!

Tanya MacIntyre

Published February 13, 2018 in Mindset - 0 Comments

Tanya MacIntyre was part of mainstream media for 22 years as a broadcaster on radio and TV. Being immersed in the negative news every day chipped away at her soul, and she finally decided that she no longer wanted to be part of the FUD Factor – the agenda to perpetuate fear, uncertainty, and doubt.

In 2010, Tanya started an online community, The Good News Only, to be a resource for people to watch, read, and hear about good people doing good things.

In 2015, Tanya started broadcasting a weekly radio show to promote extraordinary people doing positive things in the world. Her interviews are featured on Canada’s first community radio station FM 98.5 CKWR in Kitchener, ON, and available for download on her website www.thegoodnewsonly.com

Tanya's passion for positive media includes teaching people how to have a more positive relationship with mainstream media. She created her "media fast plan" to encourage people to be aware of the media they are consuming, and to be conscious of consuming media that supports their health and well-being.

She encourages everyone she meets to "Take the diet that really works: a media fast. Don't watch, read, or listen to news and see how much your life improves!"

From her extensive reporting experience and countless interviews, Tanya knows first-hand that there are far more good people in the world than bad, and far more good things happening in the world than bad, and she has made it her life’s mission to share the unlimited sources of good news and good people.

My guest today is Katrina McGhee, Katrina is a professionally certified life coach and MBA who inspires her clients to create richer, happier lives. Her amazing story has been featured on Forbes.com; you’re not gonna want to miss this!

After her initial career as a healthcare actuary, Katrina left to pursue an MBA and later began a new career in market research. Eventually realizing the corporate grind was not for her, she saved $40,000 in just eighteen months and embarked on a twenty-month career break to travel around the world.

Post career break, Katrina returned to corporate America with a side hustle that utilizes her talents and life experiences. She's now a life coach who supports people who know they’re meant for more to create a clear vision and a plan to bring it to life and get them from where they are to where they want to be.

She recently paid off the last $42,000 in student loans in just twenty-two months and now uses her budget ninja tactics to help others find freedom from their money struggles.

Her advice on managing money and international travel has been shared across various websites, blogs and podcasts including The Scott Alan Turner Show, Credit.com, Brit+Co and Better Stories.com

Some of the topics we discuss are:

  • How finding ease, peace and a sense of control over your money can allow you to take risks, invest in yourself and support your dreams. Here are three thoughts I would be happy to share:
  • Why and how did  Katrina create a new and healthier relationship with my money?
  • What's Katrina's current financial situation and how do I feel about it? (spoiler alert: She makes a lot less now than she did before her career break but she's so much happier)
  • What is one big myth about budgeting / managing your money that Katrina wants to dispel? (spoiler alert: that it can't be fun!)
